We had a great 1st week in 1st grade! It was a busy with week setting up rules and routines, getting to know each other and attending our 1st assembly!!
Your child should have brought home their Friday folder for the 1st time. Included in the folder this week were the following:
- a list of spelling words to study for the week. Please practice these words at home and we will also practice at school. We will be taking our 1st spelling test on Friday, August 25th!
- an invitation to our Back to School night on Thursday, August 24th
- Fun Run Fundraiser money envelope. Our goal for the fundraiser this year is to raise $25 K. Please visit the school web page for more information about the fun run.
- Flyer about the Eagleview Parent Teacher Partnership (EPTP) and their upcoming meeting.
Snacks and Water bottles
Please make sure to pack a healthy snack everyday. Snack will NOT be provided by the teachers. Make sure to label your child's snack with your child's name and pack it separately from their lunch so they may put it in the snack tub.
If sending in a water bottle, make sure that they are labeled with your child's name. The water bottle for the classroom should be separate from your child's drink if bringing in cold lunch.
Paperwork - Please make sure that I have the following turned in from Meet and Greet night:
- permission slip to view eclipse
- health update form
- district technology agreement
